Dealing with Anxiety

Saturday, December 03, 2016

Let’s face it. Even we don’t say it; we have that nerve that is shaking every time we get nervous.
Like seriously, it’s a part of living. I get nervous all the time. When I forgot my lunch and started thinking how can I survive without it, when I have the whole class looking at me, when I thought my teacher is mad at me and started thinking the future of my grades, when I think my best friend’s spacing out lately, when I have to perform onstage and too much to talk about. And every time I get nervous, I always say something stupid or act stupid myself. So I came up with a plan because I’m a grow up like that. (Just kidding, I’m just 14) It helps me a lot on days I really need it. I thought maybe I can share it and let’s fight anxiety, together.
Find Motivation. Find motivation on everything. Tell yourself that you can do it and you can face every single thing in life. If you want to be specific, you can search up some motivational quotes that will motivate you and can calm you down. Then, put it on the things you see or use everyday; on your phone, on your notebooks, on your room, on your locker or even on your I.D. holder. Make things more presentable and more motivational by creating it yourself.
Don’t stress yourself out. Being fully stressed can’t help you fight Anxiety. It can depress you and turning out you’ll backout on what’s ahead. Think Good thoughts. Don’t Over think. Be positive on everything. If you always think of a negative insight, It will make you more scared and crazy.  Don’t be afraid to face the future and commit mistakes. You’re not perfect, we all are. You need to take the risk to get the biscuit.

You have to breathe, in case you forgot. Breathing helps me calm my inner self and just focus on one thing. It makes my chest lighter than it should because of the nervousness. Take your time and breathe. Breathe in, breathe out 3 times. It really works lessen things a notch.

Positivity. Let’s be positive on everything! OH I FORGOT WHAT I REVIEW LAST NIGHT, its okay let’s just review again. OMG EVERYONE’S STARING AT ME, maybe because I’m pretty today. I HEARD MY NAME ON SOMEBODY’S CONVERSATION, maybe they’re talking about how good I was last reporting. POSITIVE! At the end of every worry, put a positive thought. It really works! Plus, it increases your self-confidence too. *winks*

Wear clothes that look good on you. Maybe this is optional, but putting on clothes that perfectly fit your body helps you gain confidence. I, myself, feel confident when I put on clothes that I think looks good on me. I ask my mom and my sister if it looks good on me and if do, I wear it. Then we go outside, self-confidence boosted.

Stay Peachy!
